Szechenyi Baths

|
Located in the North East of the city, alight at the metro stop of the same name, Szechenyi Furdo (Szechenyi Baths), for Budapest's most famous baths. A bright yellow palace, resembling the summer retreat of a decadent Roman Emperor, is the superb setting for this ever popular spa resort. Head inside for thermal pools, frigidaria, saunas, steam rooms, mineral pools and showers, or stay outside and sunbathe and swim surrounded by baroque statues and bronzed bodies. 2400 forints will get you in, although it may take wild horses to drag you out. Read more about the Budapest baths experience in our full length article on the Szechenyi Baths (coming soon!). |
