The project is supposed to make the square "friendlier, more usable and versatile". The construction works are due to start in 2011.

The area will change significantly. Buildings will be renovated and a huge new edifice is planned to be erected. It will remain the property of the Hungarian Government. The contract is worth about Ä58,000.
