Ex-pats get a taste of back home

You now no longer need to stock up your rucksack with copious amounts of Marmite and baked beans next time you fly home to visit mum with your dirty laundry, because last month a new food store opened up, proudly billing itself as 'The English Food Store'.

Opened by ex-pat Adrian Windsor (as yet our sources have not unearthed if he's a second cousin twice-removed from old Lizzie mark two), it's right here that you can pick up Brits favourite beers, including Strongbow, Carling, Scrumpy Jack, Pimms and the daddy of them all - good old John Smiths. You can also indulge yourself in a slab of a Cadbury's Dairy Milk and of course Heinz Baked Beans - and I'm sorry you really can't substitute Heinz with anything else, whatever the big chains may try to tell you.

Open seven days a week, Adrian's English emporium is sure to tempt you with something. It's located at Almagyar ut. 7, tel: 06 20 628 4282 so what are you waiting for! If you try it let us know how you get on at our forum.
