Christmas in Budapest

Christmas in Budapest is a magical affair with the Christmas Markets on Vorosmarty Square being the obvious place to head if you're keen to soak up the festive vibe. Throughout December over a hundred shows will take place on the Square, from the realms of puppet theatre, folk music and folk dancing; not to mention of course hundreds more stalls where you can purchase many an ideal stocking filler and plenty of local delicacies such as honey cake and mulled wine. Yum! Oh, and kids will be over the moon to hear that the real Santa Claus himself is arriving from Finland... What good luck!
