| Late Baroque Impressions Discover Baroque masterpieces at the National Gallery's latest blockbuster exhibition of old masters' works of art. A stunning array of classical paintings and pieces from the late 18th and early 19th centuries have been brought together to reveal the effects of the age of enlightenment on the traditional Baroque art movement. Artists included in the displays are Anton Maulbertsch and Josef Winterhalder.

| Calvinism along the Danube Celebrating the birth 500 years ago in 1509 of John Calvin, one of the most influential philosophers and scientists of the early Renaissance period, is this exhibition at the Budapest History Museum exploring the art, culture and influence on the Calvinist movement. The museum cleverly zooms in on the experience of three towns situated 'along the Danube' to explain to the visitor how Calvinist doctrines changed everyday life for their inhabitants. It also shows how Pest-Buda became a centre of Calvinism in the 15th and 16th centuries.
