Holdudvar

Occupying a south-eastern slice of Margaret Island, Holdudvar must count as one of Budapest's most attractive open air venues. Sip a cocktail under the portico at the bar, dine on spicy duck in the garden, dance on the terrace under the stars or just chill at the back of the club and play some table tennis and foosball. As you might expect from such a diverse venue (which also prides itself on being an art gallery and open air cinema) the crowd at Holdudvar are friendly and relaxed. Shame you can't say the same about the snooty doormen and barstaff, but don't let them spoil your fun. |
